WEBSITE OF THE WEEK - 2026 WEEK 16

This week, what else has been on my mind but hitchhiking! We've been hitchhiking to Grenoble (see /blummit, and just got here today:]

so... naturally, the website of the week is https://hitchwiki.org/, or more specifically https://maps.hitchwiki.org/. We've been using it a fair amount to check out nearby spots to get onto the motorway or out of town.

I enjoy the history of hitchwiki. I don't know much (or any) of it, but it seems to ebb and flow. The maps, especially, has existed in some form since the early 2010s, with gaps where it hasn't been online, and has split once or twice into other websites.

Anyway, my contribution is to add the spots we used. Soon.
